Description
Description: | Podoplanin is a well-recognized lymphatic endothelium marker, which can be used to reliably distinguish lymphatic vessels from blood vessels. This hamster monoclonal antibody recognizes the mouse podoplanin on cell surfaces. Protein G purified IgG was conjugated with Phycoerythrin (R-PE). This antibody can be used directly in FACS sorting. |
---|---|
Host Species: | Syrian hamster |
Buffer: | PBS 50% glycerol |
Formulation: | Protein G purified IgG |
Stability: | The antibody should be stored at -20°C. It is stable for at least 12 months. |
Cross-Reactivity: | The antibody does not cross-react with human podoplanin. Other species not tested. |
Specificity: | The monoclonal antibody will detect podoplanin on the surface of mouse lymphatic endothelial cells and some epithelial cell types by immunostaining or immunohistochemistry. It works well with paraffin sections. The antibody will detect a 36-40 kDa band in Western blotting. It also works with immunoprecipitation. |
Immunostaining/ Immunohistochemistry: |
